Your guide will point out the fascinating sites en route and you'll begin to understand why the canals – or ‘klongs' – are so important here.
And then comes Chinatown. As you arrive, you'll be amazed by the energy here. Packed with market stalls, street-side restaurants and lots of gold shops, Chinatown is an experience not to be missed. Wander along Yaowarat Road – the main artery – and its side streets, and take it all in.
