Things to do in Lindos
Known best for its whitewashed buildings, golden sand beaches, historical and archaeological significance, and especially for its clifftop acropolis, the famed town of Lindos never fails to awe and inspire all those who choose to visit.
A major highlight of the town, the Acropolis of Lindos, is considered to be one of the most important archaeological sites on Rhodes. Excavated in the early 20th century, the ruins of this acropolis are located on a steep cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
Situated on the Greek island of Rhodes, Lindos is said to date back to the 10th century. This tourism hotspot attracts travellers with charming beaches such as the popular Lindos Beach, the quieter Pallas Beach, and the picturesque St. Paul’s Bay.
In addition, since many of the buildings in Lindos have flat roofs, rooftop restaurants are quite common and can be enjoyed year-round thanks to the region’s Mediterranean climate.

Reviews Lindos
“It's a long boat trip which is fine if you want to sit on deck and get a tan or watch the scenery go by but it does get a bit samey after a while. Good selection of snacks and drinks on board. It can get hot but the cabin does have ac which helps. Swim stops are good to cool off.”
“The experience was too long for those who just wanting to shop and grab dinner. We were picked up at 14:50 and arrived in Lindos by 16:30. We were then picked up at 21:30 and arrived back at the hotel 23:15. Lindos is lovely but the shops are similar to Old Town so I wouldn't recommend going if you are only wanting to shop and have dinner.”
“The tour was too short with insufficient time allowed to enjoy Lindos. the tour guide was great very informative but the time there was far to rushed. The literature said between 4 & 8 hrs. We were barely there 2 hrs.”
“Too early a start. Visit was curtailed for no given reason. Journey too and from Lindos unnecessarily circuitous. Liked the place but was not given enough time to savour it.”
